The rapid development of the Internet means that changes in our processing of personal data may become necessary. We therefore reserve the right to update and modify these Privacy Policy. If we do, we will of course correct the date under item. 9. “Last Updated” at the bottom of the page. In case of significant changes, we will notify you in the form of a visible notice on the site.

When you visit our website, we use cookies from Google Analytics. A cookie as mentioned before is a small text file stored in your browser to recognize your computer on subsequent visits. Cookies help us see how many people visit the site (traffic metric) and how users interact with the site. We do not deal with user behavior information that can be associated with certain people. Plug-ins from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

Social media tracking pixel places cookies on your computer, telling the media that you’ve been to www.sdex.dk. If you press a SoMe icon on our website, that media also puts a cookie on your computer, tablet, etc. We assume you have an interest in SDEX and the content of its site. When you visit Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, you will then be exposed to information or advertisements with similar content. 
Please use your privacy settings on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to limit exposure to this type of promotion.

Collection of personal information

When you create a profile on www.sdex.dk, we collect the following common personal information about you: Name, E-mail, Phone Number, Company Name, Address, Website and CVR Number. In some cases, your CPR number is also collected. You have the opportunity to upload a profile picture of yourself and put your resume on your profile. By uploading your image yourself, you express your consent to your image being published on your profile until you remove it again. SDEX does not use your image for anything other than this purpose.

We do not collect special categories of personal information (sensitive information) about you.

The above-mentioned categories of personal data have been obtained from:

  • Personal data that you provide by filling in forms on our website. This includes registering to use the website, subscribing to services, newsletters and alerts, registering for a conference or requesting a white paper or further information. Pages that collect this type of personal data may provide further information as to why your personal data are needed and how it will be used.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • We may ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Any postings, comments or other content that you upload or post to a SDEX website.
  • Our website collects personal data about your computer, including (where available) your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration, to filter traffic, to look up user domains and to report on statistics.
  • Third parties including our affiliates, public websites and social media.

Processing of personal information

We collect personal data of our clients, business contacts, shareholders, website users, employees, potential employees, and suppliers. We treat only personal information to the necessary extent. When you create a personal profile or company/business profile, for example, it is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations under agreements and related services. It is also to meet the obligations we have as a Danish company where we follow Danish legislation.

We do not abuse your personal information. Furthermore, we do not disclose your personal information without your consent unless we are required to do so by law.

If you are an individual or a company, we use your personal information to:

  • Submit customer contract as well as invoice for your company.
  • Give you customer service, support, answer questions and comply with your requests to us.
  • Provide advice on news, new opportunities, products, prices, system updates, downtime, etc. via email.

We may share your personal information with the suppliers and collaborators who assist us in the execution of your request/product, or assist us with our IT operations, hosting, SMS gateway, etc. This means, for example, that we can share your information with our service providers, our technical support and our bank.

We share your information to the extent we are required. Personal data is deleted or anonymized continuously whenever the purpose they were collected for ends. Personal data will be stored for a maximum of 12 months after the end of the purpose.

Except for certain information that is required by law, your decision to provide any personal data to us is voluntary. You will therefore not be subject to adverse consequences if you do not wish to provide us with your personal data. However, please note that if you do not provide certain information, we may not be able to accomplish some or all of the purposes outlined in this privacy statement, and you may not be able to use certain tools and systems which require the use of such personal data.

If you provide us with personal data of another person (for instance, a potential employee/referral), you are responsible for ensuring that such person is made aware of the information contained in this privacy statement and that the person has given you his/her consent for sharing the information with SDEX .

Do we include (links to) websites and programs of third parties?

Our websites may include:

  • Links to and from the sites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates.
  • Certain programs (widgets and apps) of third parties. Where this is the case, note that such third parties may process your personal data collected through such programs for their own purposes.

We do not accept any responsibility or liability for such third parties’ sites or programs. Please check such third parties’ terms of use and privacy statements before using and providing any information to such third parties’ sites and programs.

To the extent that personal information about you is processed, you have the right to

  • Disclose what personal information is attributable to you according to the Personal Data Act.
  • Request access to the personal data we process about you: this right entitles you to know whether we hold personal data about you and, if we do, obtain information on and a copy of that personal data.
  • Request a rectification of your personal data: this right entitles you to have your personal data be corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Object to the processing of your personal data: this right entitles you to request that SDEX no longer processes your personal data.
  • Request the erasure of your personal data: this right entitles you to request the erasure of your personal data, including where such personal data would no longer be necessary to achieve the purposes.
  • Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data: this right entitles you to request that SDEX only processes your personal data in limited circumstances, including with your consent.
  • Request portability of your personal data: this right entitles you to receive a copy (in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format) of personal data that you have provided to SDEX, or request SDEX to transmit such personal data to another data controller.
